Ellie Erikson

Ellie brings an outgoing personality, optimistic spirit and sharp eye for detail to the UpFrame team. A South Dakota State University graduate, she got her start in the creative world as an intern at All Around Graphix before joining UpFrame Creative as an intern. She quickly connected with UpFrame’s collaborative environment and creative work and was excited for the opportunity to officially join the team.

Whether she’s fine-tuning the details of a design or helping build a brand from the ground up, Ellie loves seeing creative work make its way into the real world. She has a strength for layout and structure, especially when it comes to publications and projects where all the pieces need to work together. There’s something especially rewarding about spotting a company’s branding out in the world after having a hand in creating it. Her love for learning and design has even taken her to Miami for Adobe MAX, where she had the chance to soak up new ideas, tools, connections and plenty of creative inspiration.

Ellie’s calm, encouraging personality carries into her work, where she brings energy and thoughtfulness to every project. She’s a detailed person through and through, but also knows how to adapt when a project shifts or a new challenge comes her way. She’s always looking for the little things that can make a design feel more polished, intentional and true to the brand.

When she’s not creating at UpFrame, Ellie enjoys plenty of creative outlets and activities outside the office, too. You can find her staying active through sports, perfecting her latest at-home coffee creation, heading to a concert, riding horses or settling in with a heartfelt Christian novel. Her creativity doesn’t stop with design, either. Ellie also enjoys writing poetry, guitar music and short stories whenever inspiration strikes.
